The 99 Names of Allah — Asma ul-Husna

The Names below are the ones the Tasbih Counts counter carries, each in Arabic with a transliteration and an English meaning. Every one of them can be counted on its own: open the counter, choose a Name from the 99 Names list, and it keeps its own running total.

A note on the list itself. The Names are drawn from the Qur’an and the Sunnah, and the familiar enumeration of exactly ninety-nine is a traditional one — different scholars and different collections arrive at slightly different lists, and English renderings of a Name vary more still, because these are meanings rather than translations. The table below is the enumeration this counter uses. It is offered as a guide, not as a ruling.
